Good to see sales staying above £3,000 even when we were closed on Monday 26 May. A very healthy surplus in the first week has helped get the overdraft down a bit (it’s since crept/shot! up again!). The discounts figure of over £70 in week 3 is rather alarming (for us, not our customers) and the points have increased as well. Unfortunately we still need to keep more of what comes in if we are to get rid of the overdraft and earn an income approaching minimum wage. Still, austerity is not such a bad thing in the current climate!
