150 weeks that is. It also coincides with our year end for year 3. Becky and I agreed that we would review the business and its viability after three years (assuming it was still going of course!) so I’m very keen on getting the accounts done as soon as possible. The shop feels like it’s ‘arrived’ and is a vibrant and much appreciated facility for a small but loyal group of people. However, finances are only improving slowly – but at least they ARE improving! In terms of sales the business has generated over £420,000 of ethical sales in its first three years (this excludes income from the box scheme which has since finished) which sounds like a staggering sum of money. Of course, we have also spent close to that amount, if not more! I did say last year that I would produce a biannual report but this never happened. Now we are at the three year milestone, I’ve no excuse not to do it now, so watch this space…… .
